Box Office Report: Farhan-Shraddha starrer Rock On 2 fails to pick up on Day 2!
Demonetization is definitely taking a toll on Rock On 2. Even though there was 20-25 percent growth in business on Day 2, it is still not enough. The growth was mainly seen in Mumbai and Bangalore.
The scrapping of Rs. 500 - Rs. 1000 notes have led to a lesser audience than normal. The film has easily lost around INR 2.50 crore in 2 days where normally it would have raked in INR 5 crore nett, which is equally poor.
While the movie made INR 2 crore on Friday. it got INR 2.25-2.50 crore approx on Saturday. The Saturday figure has sealed the fate for the movie which is, unfortunately, a flop and has no chance of crossing the business of the first film which was around INR 25 crore nett.
