EXCLUSIVE: Not Salman Khan; Arjun Kapoor to star in Anees Bazmee's No Entry sequel
Salman Khan has said no to star in Anees Bazmee's No Entry sequel. Hence, it will be Arjun Kapoor who will be replacing the actor while Anil Kapoor is reprising his role.
In 2005, director Anees Bazmee gave us the iconic comedy No Entry which starred an eclectic cast comprising of Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan and Bipasha Basu in the lead roles. From the crazy storyline and witty scenes to the rib-tickling one-liners, No Entry had it all. Six years ago, a sequel was announced titled No Entry Mein Entry. While Salman was asked to be a part of the project, it wasn't a confirmed agreement by the actor.
Now, we can EXCLUSIVELY reveal to you that the next installment of No Entry will star Arjun Kapoor. The Namaste England actor has given a nod to the movie which will again be helmed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Arjun's father and filmmaker Boney Kapoor. The makers of the film are looking for one more actor as a replacement for Fardeen Khan while Anil Kapoor will reprise his role. The film is expected to go on floors, in September, next year.
Now, it's clear that Salman has said no to the project and hence, there was a change in the cast as well.

Meanwhile, in an interview with PTI in 2017, Anees had stated that the sequel to No Entry would be made with or without Salman Khan. "Salman is a fantastic actor, he is a star. If he is part of the film then it is really very good, but if he doesn't want to do it, then we will have to think of another actor with all plus and minus points and accordingly work towards it (story). Whenever Salman is part of a film it does benefit (the film)," Anees stated.
