Recently, Yuvraj Singh hosted a Gala dinner for his charity, YouWeCan Foundation. Several cricketers from around the world marked their attendance. The entire Indian team, including their head coach, Gautam Gambhir, along with stalwarts such as Ravi Shastri, Sachin Tendulkar, Kevin Pietersen, Brian Lara, Ashish Nehra, and others, were present.

Gaurav Kapoor, who was hosting the event, invited Kohli on stage and managed to ask him about his sudden retirement from Test Cricket. To this, Anushka Sharma's husband replied, "I just colored my beard two days ago. You know it's time when you are coloring your beard every four days," said Kohli, in response.

Not only did he speak about his retirement, but he also thanked his head coach, Ravi Shastri, for the way he shielded him and mentored him during his early days. "Honestly, if I weren't working with him... what happened in Test cricket wouldn't have been possible. The clarity that we had together is very hard to find. It's everything for cricketers to grow in their careers."

"Even he hadn't backed me the way he did... those press conferences where he took the bullets from the front line. Things would have been different, and I always have respect and regard for him for being a massive part of my cricketing journey," Virat said.

Talking about his recent achievements, Virat Kohli and his team, RCB, lifted the IPL 2025 trophy after an 18-year wait. He was recently spotted enjoying time with his wife, Anushka Sharma, at Wimbledon, and pictures of them went viral.
