Farhan Akhtar's Rock On 2 may not have done well at the box office, but the film's cast and crew had a fun time shooting for it in Shillong.

Prachi Desai, who was a part of the first film and made her debut with it 8 years back, revealed, "Shooting for the sequel was super fun because we bonded really well at the Shillong schedule. We worked, chilled and jammed together. It was almost like a reunion of sorts."

She continues, "It's an exciting feeling. Because Rock On marked my debut and it was received very well. Many things like bringing about Rock music culture, the style of making the movie at that point, it was fun. That is something which is still remembered today. Doing a sequel 8 years later makes you feel surreal. It was an unusual experience."

For the sequel, Prachi underwent a transformation and was seen in a different look. Quiz her on it and she says, "Honestly speaking, this is the real me. Unfortunately people failed to see me this way because of the kind of movies I have done. I always wanted to chop off my hair. But I had to keep long hair for Azhar. For Rock On 2 my role needed a transformation, so I was all game for it."

Probe her on how was it working with Shraddha Kapoor, who was the new entrant in the film, and the actress gushes, "The rest of us had been so familiar with each other, hence we always had a bond. But when we had Shraddha Kapoor, she was really welcomed with open arms. She gelled in very well and it was never like anybody was new."

And what about the reports of catfight?

"This really doesn't amuse me any more. The films that I have done and the ones which I haven't done, I keep reading these reports when there are two female actors involved. I just keep wondering why people want to make a scapegoat or a laughing stock out of women? Why don't we say such things about the guys? Now I just laugh it off. It is just a PR exercise that some machinery do or may be the press does. We are not 10 year old who would fight. I don't think Shraddha and I owe any explanation to anyone. We meet so often, whether it is the shoot, parties or promotions and we really have a gala time. We just laugh about it," signs off Prachi.
