EXCLUSIVE: Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter's Kaali Peeli to go on floors in September
After wrapping up Pati Patni Aur Woh, Ananya will head straight to shoot for Kaali Peeli opposite Ishaan Khatter. Read to know details.
Ananya Panday is clearly turning out to be one of the most looked for newcomers on the block. While the first film positioned her well in the industry, the second is almost over and she will soon kickstart work on the third porject - Kaali Peeli - opposite Ishaan Khatter. Says a source, "Ananya has been shooting non stop sine the release of her first film Student Of The Year 2. She was in Lucknow to finish her portions for Pati Patni Aur Woh. They have constantly shooting nights in the city of Nawabs. Ananya finishes her shoot in the first week of September and will be back to the bay around 8th of next month."
Right after, she dives into Kaali Peeli. Ishaan, who has not had a release since Dhadak last year, will also kickstart shoot together. "The first schedule of Kaali Peeli is expected to roll out around mid-September. They are shooting in Mumbai and they start on September 15. It's a unique love story that will be produced by Ali Abbas Zafar and directed by one of his associates."
On the other hand, Ishaan has also signed Mira Nair's web series on Vikram Seth's A Suitable Boy. He will be joined by the likes of Tabu who are also part of the project. And Ananya's second film that is being headlined by Kartik Aaryan and has Bhumi Pednekar playing one of the female leads, will be wrapped up in two weeks from now and the film will hit screens in December this year.
