EXCLUSIVE: Nushrat Bharucha roped in for Bulbul Marriage Hall presented by Salman Khan
Salman Khan's manager Jordy Patel is producing the romcom, that will be presented by the superstar. The hunt for the leading lady has ended in Nushrat Bharucha.
Salman Khan is not only acting in films but has also turned towards production in a big way ever since he launched his own banner SKF - Salman Khan Films. Apart from films, the superstar has also ventured into TV and has bankrolled the latest edition of Nach Baliye as well. Along with Dabangg 3, he has also decided to present another film, titled Bulbul Marriage Hall.
Now, we hear the makers have already locked the main female lead for the romcom. "Nushrat Bharucha has been roped in to play the prime protagonist for the movie. Jordy had discussed the idea with Nushrat and she loved the way it was written. It's a mad cap family film that will tickle your funny bones and that's what appealed to Nushrat. The film revolves around two brothers and a marriage hall but the character of the girl binds the film together."
Casting for the male leads are underway. "The team is in talks with two actors to play the male leads. Once they are locked, they plan to make an official announcement." The film, will be presented by SKF but will be produced by his manager Jordy Patel. The film will be set in Delhi. Directed by Rohit Nayyar who had previously helmed a film called Shadow, Bulbul Marriage Hall is written by Raaj Shaandilya. The plan is to roll the film out sometime towards the end of this year itself.
