It's almost that time of the year again. Bigg Boss 13 is round the corner and the beuphoria around the whole season is on an all time high. While the makers have gone back to their 'only-celebrities' approach for the reality show, one thing that remains unchanged is the man who drives the biggest eyeballs for BB - Salman Khan.
Like every year, Salman Khan's histrionics will play a major role in the TRPs and recently, it was reported that the Dabangg hero was charging a whopping amount for the whole edition. "Salman is charging a whopping amount of Rs. 31 crores per weekend which makes it a total of Rs. 403 crores for a mere 26 episodes. It is being said that the actor has an offer to make and he might as well be producing the show. along with shows like The Kapil Sharma Nach Baliye in his kitty already," was reported previously.
In fact, another source from the team has told us that the figures are completely wrong. The informer revealed, "The season will extend for the usual 105 days, which means 15 weeks. Last year, he charged Rs 11 crore per day of shoot. He shoots both the weekend special episodes in a day and so, in 2018 he minted Rs 165 crore from the whole season. BB 13 will be a notch higher. He has hiked his fee and will get Rs 13 crore per week, which means Rs 6.5 crore per episode. That also means that he will in fact be earning close to Rs 200 crore (Rs 195 crore exactly) this time and not 400 crore as being reported." But nevertheless, Salman remains the highest paid Bollywood celebrity on the small screen. After all, nobody has the mass connect the way he enjoys with the Indian audience.
