Godzilla: King of the Monsters is receiving a mixed response from the audience as well as from the viewers. As per the movie collected Rs 2 crore and 25 lakhs on the day one (Thursday) and on day 2 (Friday) the movie showed some improvement and garnered Rs 3 crore and 25 lakhs and now, the total stands at 5 crore and 50 lakhs.
The BOI report states, "The numbers are still low and it's about the weekend improving further." For the unversed, the same is a sequel to Godzilla (2014), it is the 35th film in the Godzilla franchise. The movie features Stranger Things fame Millie Bobby Brown in a pivotal role. Apart from her, the movie also stars Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Bradley Whitford and Sally Hawkins among others. As per the reports, this particular movie is dedicated to the executive producers Yoshimitsu Banno and Haruo Nakajima, the original Godzilla suit performer. They both died in 2017.
The movie is co-written and directed by Michael Dougherty. The movie follows a story on how humans have to rely on Godzilla to defeat King Ghidorah, who awakens other Titans to destroy the world.
The movie has been panned by many but it is getting praises for the visual effects, music, and action sequences. As per reports, sequel, Godzilla vs. Kong is all set to release on March 13, 2020.
