KGF Box Office collection: Yash starrer becomes first Kannada film to set a huge record in USA
Kannada superstar Yash's KGF, which released on December 21 has set a huge record at the Box Office in the USA.
Yash starrer KGF, which has released in five languages is setting Box Office on fire. The film that released on December 21 in a clash with Shah Rukh Khan's Zero, is minting good numbers since day one. In fact, KGF has set a huge record by becoming the first ever Kannada film to cross $300K mark at the USA box office. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala wrote, “#KGF has crossed $300K at the #USA Box Office.. Fastest Kannada Movie to do so..”
On day one, KGF earned Rs 18 crore approx with day 2 has registered impressive numbers at the ticket windows. The film has shown growth on its second day with a collection of Rs 19.25 crore approx and with this, total two days business of the film stands at around Rs 37.25 crore. The Hindi version had growth of 50% approx (Rs 3 crore) on day 2, which is extremely good. In Karnataka, KGF had earned Rs 12 crore, in Nizam/Andhra Rs 2.50 crore, in Tamil Nadu Rs 1.25 crore and Rs 50 Lakhs in Kerala. First weekend business of the film has been good and now, it remains to see how the film performs on Tuesday, being Christmas holiday.

KGF has been directed by Prasanth Neel and is the story of a man operating in the Mumbai underworld before he gets an assignment to come to Kolar Gold Fields. With the first chapter being so well received, fans are now looking forward to the next chapter.
