EXCLUSIVE: Shilpa Shetty to play a pivotal role in Abhimanyu Dassani starrer Nikamma
Although the actress will be seen in an extended cameo in Diljit Dosanjh and Yami Gautam's next, she will have a full fledged role in Sabbir Khan's directorial venture. Read on to find out.
Shilpa Shetty is making a return to cinemas. The actress, who has been busy shooting for a few reality shows in the last few years, had consciously stayed away from films. But now, the yummy mummy will soon be seen in not just one but two projects.
It's already announced that Ramesh Taurani has signed the actress for his next production venture that also stars Yami Gautam and Diljit Dosanjh. Shilpa plays a writer in the romcom but that's actually not a really big part. Instead, it's more of an extended appearance. But the other film where Shilpa has a proper role will be announced soon.
But a little birdie has already informed us what Shilpa is doing next. "She will be seen next in Sabbir Khan's next titled Nikamma. It's an action romantic saga and Shilpa has a very pivotal role in the plot. The movie stars Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia and is going on floors in a month's time." Shilpa is currently holidaying and will be back to the bay next week. Post that, the team will be sorting her dates out for both the films. All in all, it's interesting to see Shilpa make a comeback to films. And we're quite sure that like many other heroines, she will also throw the myth about married women not getting work straight out of the window.
