Pharrell Williams has been in India for the last couple of days. He shot for an extremely glamorous international fashion magazine cover with none other than Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on March 1.
Now this is really a scoop! While there have been reports of American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, film producer and the lead vocalist and drummer of the rock-funk-hip hop band N*E*R*D, Pharrell Williams is coming down to India during Holi – here’s the real news! Williams has been in India for the last couple of days. In fact, he shot an extremely glamorous international fashion magazine cover with none other than Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on March 1! It was a hush-hush shoot, done under utmost secrecy, as the magazine wants to make their own announcement. They will reproduce some candid moments between the two in the inside
Says an onlooker present on the sets of the shoot which took place at Mehboob Studios in Bandra on Wednesday, “Pharrell’s commercially successful single, Happy, was a super-hit worldwide and was the most successful song of 2014. Aishwarya is, of course, used to shooting with Hollywood stars including Steve Martin, Colin Firth, Dylan McDermott and Martin Henderson, having acted in Hollywood movies, but this one was a special one for her as she met Pharrell for the first time. They got along like a house on fire and kept talking through the shoot.He asked her about Bollywood movies, food and music as she shared some of her Hollywood experiences with him. Pharrell has come down to India to launch his new clothing line which is inspired by Holi, the festival of colours, so Aishwarya asked him about it too and his Holi plans as he will be in India then.” 
Pharrell flew into Mumbai quietly with his entourage a couple of days ago and shot with Aishwarya for the magazine cover yesterday (March 1) at Mehboob Studios. The onlooker adds, “Ash is a thorough professional. She came to pay her final respects at Sridevi’s funeral on Wednesday, along with her mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan and sister-in-law Shweta Bachchan Nanda and then headed for the cover shoot. Commitments with international celebs are made months in advance with technicians’ dates being booked at the same time so there was no way that the shoot with Pharrell was something that could not be postponed.”
There have been reports that Ranveer Singh is planning to throw a Holi party for Pharrell Williams as he is a huge fan of the American singer and also because the actor is also the brand ambassador of the same sports shoe brand that Pharrell is.
