Box Office Report: It's double sixes for Sushant's M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story in the opening weekend!
Sushant Singh Rajput is one happy and proud man. The actor's recently released film M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story has had an excellent opening weekend with the movie earning INR 23 crore on Sunday, taking the grand total to a massive INR 66 crore.
As predicted, the film has recorded the second highest collection of 2016 after Salman Khan's Sultan.
The Tamil and Telugu version of the movie has grossed around INR 3.75 crore which fares better than films like Shah Rukh Khan's Happy New Year and Salman Khan's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
In fact, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story's opening weekend business is in the range of films like Bang Bang and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
Now it would be interesting to see how the film scores starting Monday because that will determine whether the movie occupies the status of the second blockbuster of 2016.
