Dream Girl Box Office Collection Day 3: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer registers fantastic first weekend business
Dream Girl Box Office: Dream Girl starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Nushrat Bharucha, Manjot Singh, Vijay Raaz and Annu Kapoor released last week on Friday. The romantic-comedy has managed to rake in moolah over the first week. Here’s how much it collected at the box office on the weekend.
Last Friday, Ayushmann Khurrana, Nushrat Bharucha starrer Dream Girl released in theatres. The film is a romantic-comedy that is based on the life of a man Karamveer Singh who pretends to be a woman on the phone to get a job in a female call centre. The trailer of the film showcased Ayushmann as a girl playing Sita in Ram Leela and left everyone in awe of the actor. Now, the film released last week and has managed to rake in moolah at the box office.
Talking about the first weekend box office collection of Dream Girl, Ayushmann and Nushrat starrer has managed to rake in Rs 43.50 Crore in just 3 days. This kind of collection is fantastic for a comedy film like Dream Girl. Coming to the box office collection on Sunday, Ayushmann’s film managed to mint Rs 18 Crore itself on that day which took to the collections over Rs 40 Crore. The film received a good response in regions like Delhi, UP and Punjab. Even in parts of Gujarat, Dream Girl had a strong hold over the box office.
The film’s major USP is coming out to be the dialogues and the one liners. Apart from Ayushmann and Nushrat, Dream Girl also stars Manjot Singh, Vijay Raaz and Annu Kapoor in the film. The songs like Radhe Radhe, Dil Ka Telephone, Ik Mulaqaat, Dhaga La Lag Li and more are superhit chartbusters. Ayushmann’s film has managed to beat Chhichhore’s first weekend box office collection and is going strong. It will be interesting to see how the film performs during the week.
