EXCLUSIVE: Akshay Kumar signs Farhad Samji's next masala actioner to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala

Akshay Kumar is known to be someone who does at least three-four films every year. This year too, the actor opened 2019 with Kesari which did over RS 150 crore business and now has Mission Mangal hitting screens on Independence Day. Post that, Housefull 4 releases on Diwali whereas Good News is scheduled for December 27 this year. All these films aren't the only projects that are keeping Akshay Kumar busy.
In fact, the superstar is currently shooting for Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi and will soon move on to Laxmmi Bomb right after. But in between, Akki has also signed a web series and another project, to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Says a source, "Sajid and Akshay are best friends. They were planning to do another film and it was then that Farhad Samji came up with LOL Land OF Lungi. That film isn't happening with Akshay but he is doing another project, that will be directed by Farhad and produced by Sajid."
The movie in point is a masala actioner. "It's entertaining and extremely massy. Akshay has recently shot for the film's poster too. While there are many social dramas he's known for, this will be in a completely Rowdy Rathore space. It's a fun potboiler where Akki will playing to the plexes." Expect Akshay to be in his elements and the film will mostly roll sometime in the first half of 2020. "Akshay also has his web series The End for which he has to allot almost a month for the shoot of the first season. He will have to finish the three projects lined up for now and then move on to this action flick." But when it's Sajid Nadiadwala and Akshay Kumar, we can only expect firecrackers!
