Recently, there have been reports that the director is planning to a film titled 'Main Bhi Chowkidar'.

For the elections, the BJP party used 'Main Bhi Chowkidar' as the main tagline for their election campaign this year. It was reported by Madhur took the rights of the phrase, made it his title and has started working on the story and the premise. However, Madhur Bhandarkar's spokesperson denied the news stating that the filmmaker isn't making any such film.

Madhur Bhandarkar's spokesperson EXCLUSIVELY told Pinkvilla, "There is no truth in this news. Someone is spreading this false news. Would request people to confirm before filing or spreading such rumours."
