If there's an actor-director waiting to happen, it has to be that of Rohit Shetty and Salman Khan. Recent rumours suggest that both SK and Rohit are joining hands for an actioner. Not just that, although initially it was being speculated that Inshallah and Sooryavanshi will clash at the ticket windows, that has now been averted.

While the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial that has Salman paired opposite Alia Bhatt sticks to its original release plan, Sooryavanshi that brings back Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif on screen again will now hit the marquee on March 27, 2020. Taking to Twitter, it was Salman Khan who announced the new date and also put out a sweet message for the Singham director. Calling Rohit a younger brother, he also almost made it clear that he and Rohit are indeed teaming up for a project.

Another source, close to the development, reveals, "Rohit and Salman had discussed two scripts. One of them is another cop drama that Rohit is planning. Rohit has time and again revealed that just like Marvel's superheroes, he's planning to build an entire cop universe in Bollywood. He already has three franchises - Singham, Simmba and Sooryavanshi. And now, in the actioner that he's planning with Salman, the superstar will in all probabilities don the uniform again."

But there's another idea that might work out. "Since Salman is anyway coming up with Dabangg 3 this year, he might do the fourth instalment with Rohit. He has discussed that concept too, since Chulbul Pandey is already an iconic character. It can also become a merger between Dabangg and Rohit's cop universe where Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh might also join in." But now, with Salman giving his nod to be part of the world that Rohit is creating, it's only become bigger and better.
