EXCLUSIVE: Shahid Kapoor and brother Ishaan Khatter to share screen space in THIS film
For the longest time, both Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter have been asked if they would like to do a film together. Now, it's finally happening. Read details inside.
Shahid Kapoor is possibly in the best phase of his career right now. With Kabir Singh already netting around Rs 120 crore and looking at an over 200 crore haul at the box office, the 38-year old actor seems to have found his ground. The blockbuster success of his last film has straight away catapuled him into the big league and nobody can call him under-rated anymore.
But one thing that remains to be seen is what Shahid picks up after Kabir Singh. There are already a few discussions happening and the Udta Punjab star was waiting for the response to the remake, to decide on what he wants to do next. Among the offers that have caught his fancy are a film with Nikkhil Advani's banner, the remake of Nani-starrer Jersey with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and another untitled project to be directed by Ram Madhvani.
From what we hear, Shahid has already given his go ahead to the film, pitched by the Neerja maker. "It's an adventure based action drama. He plays a biker in the film. The movie is expected to roll sometime around January next year. Shahid is definitely doing the film." But what makes this project interesting is that it's also a story about two brothers. "Ishaan Khatter has been offered the other part. When Shahid was told about this, he was extremely happy about the development. Ishaan too has liked the script and okayed it. The story is extremely hard hitting and emotional at the same time, and perfectly suits the two bhais." This will be the first time that we will see the two real life brothers share screen space on celluloid. Although they have always been asked this question ever since Ishaan made his debut with Beyond The Clouds, it's now happening for real. We are excited. Are you?
