EXCLUSIVE: Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra's Jabariya Jodi trailer to be unveiled on THIS date
Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra have paired up on screen after five years for the film, which was initially supposed to release in May. But it later got pushed to August and now, the makers have locked a date to launch the trailer.
Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra-starrer Jabariya Jodi might have faced a few delays in the release, but right now, the rom com is definitely hitting screens on August 2. Initially, it was supposed to release in May and was pushed to July 12, but now, Ekta Kapoor has decided to release in the first week of August.
For the longest time, there have been queries on when the first theatrical trailer of Jabariya Jodi will be launched. Now, we finally have a date in hand. A source reveals, "Balaji has plans of unveiling the promo next week. As of now, they want to have a big event on July 1 and launch it for the fans." In an earlier interview, Sid had said, "I think I haven't played this kind of role earlier in my career and for Pari (Parineeti Chopra) also, it's a different world and different role. We are really excited about the film and that's why we are celebrating with a wrap-up party of the film. The entire crew has worked really hard on this film and hopefully soon, in a month or two, we might release some content of the film."
Revolving around the story of groom kidnapping or pakdwa vivaah, Jabariya Jodi has Sidharth playing a Bihari goon. This will be the second time Sid and Pari will team up on-screen, after Hasee Toh Phasee that released in 2014. The film kick-started its shooting schedule last year in August and also stars actors like Aparshakti Khurana, Sanjay Mishra, Neeraj Sood, Gopal Dutt, Jaaved Jaaferi and Chandan Roy Sanyal.
