Varun Dhawan who had been shooting back to back for his movies and had Kalank release just this week will be turning a year older on April 24. After a ridiculously tiring Kalank schedule and Street Dancer later, the actor is all set to take a much-needed break for his birthday. Pinkvilla has learnt that the Kalank actor will be flying down to Thailand to ring in his birthday and will be accompanied by his school friends.
A source informs, “The actor is flying down tonight and is looking forward to unwinding with his school friends whom he considers like family. He will return to the city post to resume work.” While it is not clear if girlfriend Natasha will join the actor or not, it is likely that she would. Given that Varun had been working relentlessly last year, we definitely look forward to seeing him chill.
Moving forward, Varun will soon begin shooting for Coolie No 1 where he will be seen alongside Sara Ali Khan. The movie will be directed by David Dhawan and is an official adaptation of the movie starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor with the same title. Not just that, Varun also has Ranbhoomi in the pipeline which will be helmed by Shashank Khaitaan. He is also rumoured to have been approached for a movie to be helmed by Sriram Raghavan, who was the man behind AndhaDhun which starred Ayushmann Khurrana.
