Article 15 Box Office Collections Day 12: Ayushmann Khurrana's film has a drastic decrease due to the WC game

Ayushmann Khurrana is having the best time of his life right now. After giving blockbuster films like Badhaai Ho and Andhadhun, the actor is now enjoying the success of his latest investigative drama Article 15. Ayushmann has proved that its not the films with huge budget and big stars which succeeds, but the story of the film is what matters the most. The audience is impressed with his choice of films and spectacular performances. The Vicky Donor actor has surely raised the bar in the film industry. 

Article 15 faced a drastic decrease in the collections on Tuesday due to the semi-final World Cup match between India and New Zealand and bagged around only Rs 1.25 crore nett. The match will get started today from where it had halted yesterday due to the rain, which means it will be hard for the film to go back to basic collections. This cricket match might stall the film from becoming a hit at the box office.

Helmed by Anubhav Sinha, the film also features Isha Talwar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra, M Naser, Ashish Verma, Sushil Pandey, Subrajyoti Bharat and Zeeshan Ayub. Ayushmann is essaying the role of a cop for the very first time in it. Article 15 of the Indian Constitution is about prohibition of discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth.
