If there is one couple who owned 2018 both professionally and personally, it will have to be DeepVeer aka Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Not only did they start the year with a bang, which came in the form of the superhit Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Padmaaavat, in November 2018, DeepVeer became one in holy matrimony. In what was a beautiful Konkani and Sindhi ceremony, Deepika and Ranveer spread the joy of love at Lake Como, Italy, amongst family members and close friends.
Before we welcome 2019, Pinkvilla sat with Deepika Padukone for an EXCLUSIVE interview as the actress got candid on life after marriage. When we asked the newlywed about what she felt when Ranveer became "her hubby", Padukone revealed, "I think soon after the ceremony was done. The minute we held hands it was different. It was not like holding my boyfriend's hand; he's your man for life. Almost, instantly it happened." The blushing actress could not stop gushing over her man and their relationship, which is sure to make DeepVeer fans squeal with joy.
On 2018 being DeepVeer's year and how she would summarise it, Deepika shared, "Magical. Absolutely magical. I can't think of any other word to summarise every experience and emotion we have gone through in the past. It's been truly magical."
