2.0 starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar is running successfully at the box office even after 15 days of its release. The film that released on November 29 is unstoppable and is earning huge with each passing day. While the film is earning huge at the box office in India, the makers are all set to release the film in China in 2019. According to the latest box office updates, 2.0 directed by Shankar has entered Rs 700 crore club at the worldwide box office. And guess what? The film has beat the total lifetime box office collection record of Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer Baahubali: The Beginning in a span of two weeks.
According to trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, 2.0 is the first Kollywood film to earn Rs 700 crore at the worldwide box office. He tweeted, "#2Point0 WW Box Office: FIRST ever Kollywood film to CROSS ₹700 cr gross mark. Week 1 - ₹ 526.86 cr Week 2 Day 1 - ₹ 27.31 cr Day 2 - ₹ 32.57 cr Day 3 - ₹ 36.45 cr Day 4 - ₹ 39.20 cr Day 5 - ₹ 17.13 cr Day 6 - ₹ 14.66 cr Day 7 - ₹ 16.80 cr Total - ₹ 710.98 cr". The Hindi version of the film has earned Rs 245 crore in 15 days, and with this, it becomes the sixth highest earner of all time.
