Taapsee Pannu starrer Naam Shabana is enjoying a decent run at the box office with the movie minting INR 23.80 crore (approx) at the box office. The movie has an ensemble cast consisting of Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpayee and Prithviraj Sukumaran in pivotal roles and is a spin-off of Akshay Kumar starrer Baby. The movie follows the journey of Shabana who is hired by a top agency as a spy.

The film which opened to a good response saw a dip in its collection on Monday by almost half a percent. However, the female spy thriller managed to pick up at the box office on Tuesday by around 10%.

According to Box Office India, the movie has taken its five-day business to INR 22.50 crore net with the week going to around INR 26 crore nett. It is said that the holiday period on the occasion of Ram Navami must have benefited the movie.

Naam Shabana is expected to pick up the pace in the coming week as there is no major Hindi release this week.

The movie released on around 1200-1400 screens across the country. The movie is made at the budget of Rs 25 crore (approx) which also includes the production and promotions cost. Looking at the figures, it is expected that the movie will be able to recover the production cost soon if it continues its steady run at the box office.

However, it will be too soon to declare the movie- a hit or a flop.
