Dream Girl Box Office Collection Day 5: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer earns THIS much on Tuesday
Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl has been entertaining audiences since last Friday. Directed by Raaj Shandilyaa, the film is registering good numbers on the box office. Here’s how much it minted at the box office on Tuesday.
A film that has been the talk of the town since the trailer initially dropped is Ayushmann Khurrana, Nushrat Bharucha starrer Dream Girl. The film’s trailer showcased the life of a man pretending to be a woman on the phone to get a job at the female call centre. Karamveer Singh, played by Ayushmann, manages to create another character named Pooja with his ability to speak in a female voice. This leads to hilarious situations when men fall in love with Pooja.
The film was released last Friday and has been doing well ever since. Coming to the box office collection, Dream Girl kick started on a good note and is still keeping it rock steady. On Tuesday, Dream Girl’s box office collections were Rs 7.25 Crore which is the same as Monday. This made the total box office collections of Ayushmann’s film reach Rs 57.50 Crore in just 5 days of its release. The film has been getting rave reviews and is expected to continue the steady run at the box office.
Apart from Ayushmann, the film stars Nushrat Bharucha, Manjot Singh, Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Abhishek Banerjee and others. The trailer got an overwhelming reaction from fans and the songs like Dhaga La Lag Li and Radhe Radhe are chartbusters. This Friday, two films are releasing including Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Dulquer Salmaan’s The Zoya Factor and Karan Deol and Sahher Bambba’s Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. It will be interesting to see how Ayushmann Khurran’s film gets affected by the new releases of the week.
