EXCLUSIVE: Tiger Shroff's Student of the Year 2 to kickstart in Kashmir from May
Tiger Shroff to begin shooting for Student of the Year 2 from May 2 in Kashmir.
Tiger Shroff is one busy actor. The action star, who is currently shooting for Munna Michael, will soon begin work on Student of the Year 2. The movie, which will be helmed by Punit Malhotra, is the second part in the SOTY franchise, first one being Karan Johar's 2012 hit Student of the Year that was the launch pad for actors like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.
While the hunt for the leading ladies of the movie is still on, the makers of SOTY 2 had signed Tiger Shroff for the film in August last year itself. Head honcho of Dharma Productions, Karan Johar had tweeted, "It's OFFICIAL....Directed by Punit Malhotra STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2 ( SOTY2) with TIGER SHROFF @iTIGERSHROFF."
Now, a source close to the production unit has informed us that the first schedule of the much-awaited movie will go on-floors from next month. "Tiger will begin shooting for Student of the Year 2 from May first week in Kashmir. The entire team is flying out to the exotic locales of Kashmir where the film will be shot for almost a month long schedule," reveals a source.
Adds another source, "Though the actresses aren't finalized yet, the makers would be locking the two leading ladies soon and will also make an official announcement. In all probabilities, one of the actresses is Sara Ali Khan, who will be launched with this film. After the 30-day schedule in Kashmir, the team will shoot for their second and final schedule in Mumbai and they aim to wrap up the movie by July this year."
Well now, this indeed sounds exciting! And we just cannot wait to know who the two actresses are opposite Tiger Shroff in the film.
