EXCLUSIVE: Ananya Panday on Pati Patni Aur Woh’s Akhiyon Se Goli Mare Song: Kartik, Bhumi & I had fun shooting
Ananya Panday, Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar will be seen recreating Govinda and Raveena Tandon’s song, Akhiyon Se Goli Mare in Pati Patni Aur Woh. Ananya spoke about the remake exclusively to Pinkvilla. Here’s what she said.
After a long wait, the much awaited trailer of Pati Patni Aur Woh was released a few days ago. Starring Ananya Panday, Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar, Pati Patni Aur Woh is a remake of the Sanjeev Kumar starrer from 1978. However, it has modern twists in it. The trailer got an overwhelming response from the audience and the first song, Dheeme Dheeme is a trending chartbuster. Now, another song we heard in the trailer Akhiyon Se Goli Mare will be released soon and will feature Kartik, Ananya and Bhumi.
Talking about the remake exclusively to Pinkvilla, Ananya revealed that so many times she has recreated the steps done by Govinda and Raveena Tandon in the original song at parties. However, with the remake, she got a chance to shoot and learn her own steps. Ananya said, “I'm super-duper excited about the song because Akhiyon Se Goli Mare is such an iconic song. I have danced on it so many times at so many parties and we have always recreated the steps that Raveena ma’am and Govind sir have done, and now I will be doing my own steps which are a lot of fun, and I'm so excited to do that.”

Ananya also revealed that Dheeme Dheeme Kartik and she had shot together and Bhumi and Kartik had filmed together. Akhiyon Se Goli Mare is the one song they all had together and hence, it was fun to shoot. Also, the young star revealed it was a dream for her to work with Farah Khan. Ananya said, “I am excited because my friends are gonna be so excited that this song is gonna be a song that I am a part of and it such a big deal for me to be recreating such an iconic song. We can never match up to what they did, but I think we just tried to have fun while we were doing the song and Farah ma’am was a blast to work with it was a dream of mine to work with her and she just added the masala, the fun, and everything. And the three of us got to be in the song together, Bhumi Kartik and I.”
“We just had a blast doing it and I hope people like the song and our chemistry and just have fun while dancing on the song because we had a lot of fun making the song,” added the Pati Patni Aur Woh star. Meanwhile, Ananya will be seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh with Kartik Aryan and Bhumi Pednekar in Pati Patni Aur Woh. The film is helmed by Mudassar Aziz and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Juno Chopra. The trailer was loved by fans who are excited to see Kartik, Bhumi and Ananya together. The film is slated to release on December 6, 2019.
