Sardar Ka Grandson has been directed by Kaashvi Nair and will release on Netflix
Yesterday, Arjun Kapoor announced that his next with Rakul Preet Singh has been titled Sardar Ka Grandson, and that it will be released on Netflix. “Gather your parents and grandparents for this one, Sardar ka Grandson is coming soon to @netflix_in,” he wrote on Instagram, and shared a couple of stills from this much awaited film. Pinkvilla now has another interesting update on this Kaashvi Nair directorial. We have learnt that Arjun and Rakul recently shot for an entertaining promotional track for the film.
“The makers wanted to add an interesting dance number to the film’s music album and came up with this song, which is a recreation of a yesteryear composition. It’s a party track and Arjun and Rakul shot for it over a period of two days in a Mumbai studio. The plan is to unveil this song closer to the release date,” informs a source close to the development. Sardar Ka Grandson also features Kanwaljit Singh and Neena Gupta in pivotal roles.
After this film, Arjun will be seen in Pavan Kripalani’s Bhoot Police with Saif Ali Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam. He also has Ek Villain Returns co-starring John Abraham, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria in the pipeline. He is soon scheduled to start shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s son Aasmaan’s directorial debut too, which is being co-produced by Luv Ranjan. Meanwhile, Rakul has Ajay Devgn’s Mayday and the John starrer Attack in the pipeline. 
Sardar Ka Grandson has been produced by John Abraham, Bhushan Kumar and Nikkhil Advani.
