EXCLUSIVE: No wedding reception for Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal planned on February 2, confirms Anil Dhawan

Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal finally tied the knot in a luxury Alibaug resort on January 24, 2021, amidst the presence of their families and close friends. The duo looked stunning in matching off-white attires and greeted the media soon after their nuptials. Now there are reports that a reception has been planned for the couple in Mumbai on February 2 which is likely to be attended by the who’s who of Bollywood. However, Pinkvilla now has an exclusive update on that front.
While speaking to us Varun’s actor-uncle Anil Dhawan confirmed that no wedding reception for Varun and Natasha has been planned for February 2. “Asia kuch nahin hai (Nothing like that is happening). Hoga toh uska date dekhenge (If it happens, we’ll decide on the date), everybody is busy with their respective things. Whatever you’ll are hearing is not true,” informs Anil. The newlyweds along with their families and guests are now on their way back to Mumbai. One of the first guests to return back to the bay on Monday was Karan Johar.
Varun and Natasha’s wedding celebrations began from Friday. Reportedly, it started with a bachelor party and was followed by mehendi and sangeet functions. While speaking to Pinkvilla earlier, Anil had said that they are all extremely excited for Varun’s wedding. “This is the last marriage in our family from Varun’s generation. Rohit (Dhawan, Varun’s elder brother) got married, my children got married and my elder brother's kids are also married. Toh yeh complete circle ho jayega (this will be a complete circle),” he had said.
