We were among the first to inform that Siddharth Anand’s production house, Marflix is planning a slate of three releases starting with his direction venture, the Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starer Fighter, followed by the Tiger Shroff fronted Rambo remake to be directed by Rohit Dhawan and finally, Sid’s directorial with Prabhas. We also revealed that the filmmaker is trying to tie up with a studio to bankroll the 3-mega budget action films with the top names in the genre from the industry.

And now, Pinkvilla has exclusively learnt that Sid’s production house is in talks with the giant, Jio Studios for his second production venture, the official remake of Sylvestor Stallone’s Rambo, which stars Tiger Shroff in titular role. “Sid has been exploring the probable collaboration with multiple studios, but it is Jio who has shown keen interest. At this point of time, it’s not known if the conversations are going on for just Rambo or all three films that Sid is planning. But yes, he is definitely in talks with Jio for Rambo,” a trade source shared, adding further that, Jio too is planning to enter the market of Bollywood in a big way with multiple big films with top names of the industry.

The Rambo remake is expected to go on the floors sometime next year. Before moving on to the Rambo remake, Tiger will finish is work on three films, Heropanti 2, Ganpath and Baaghi 4. While Heropanti takes off this month in Mumbai, Ganpath goes on the floors by mid-2021 and finally, Baaghi 4 by year end. “Tiger is all excited and charged up for the three films. While Heropanti 2 is a sleek action thriller in the espionage space, Ganpath is a emotional action drama against the backdrop of boxing and mma, and finally, Baaghi 4 and Rambo are RAW big scale action films,” the source signed off.

The actor has been prepping day and night to attain a certain physique for Heropanti 2, whereas he is also aggressively training in mix martial arts and kickboxing. Stay tuned for more updates on Tiger.
