Box Office Report: Ok Jaanu and xXx: Return of Xander Cage have a poor weekend!
Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur's Ok Jaanu had a poor weekend at the box-office as its total collection stands at INR 11.75 crore (Friday - INR 3.50 crore, Saturday - INR 4.25 crore, Sunday - INR 4 crore).
There are certain states like Mysore and Bangalore which saw poor collection because of big South India releases. That left Mumbai and Pune to be the best. Unless there's a Monday surprise, Ok Jaanu is heading to be a flop.
Deepika's long-awaited Hollywood debut xXx: Return of Xander Cage has finally released and it saw a lukewarm response at the box office. The collection stands at INR 17.25 crore (Friday (Paid Previews) - INR 2 crore, Saturday - INR 7 crore, Sunday - INR 6.25 crore).
A weird release date decision lowered the collection as it would have garnered approx INR 5 crore nett more. An INR 20 crore collection is decent for a Hollywood release.
Both Ok Jaanu and xXx were affected by the India vs England cricket match which took place on Sunday.
