Dream Girl Box Office Collection Day 6: Ayushmann Khurrana, Nushrat Bharucha starrer rakes in decent amount
Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha starrer Dream Girl is having a steady week. The film has managed to get good reviews and here’s how much Dream Girl collected on Day 6.
Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha starrer Dream Girl was one of the most highly anticipated films of 2019 and it released last Friday. The year has been a good one for Ayushmann as he bagged his first National Film Award for AndhaDhun and his film, Article 15 was received great reviews as well. With Dream Girl, Ayushmann tried to enter commercial cinema space and so far, has managed to entertain audiences. The film features him as Karamveer Singh who pretends to be a woman to take up a job at a female call centre.
Soon, many men fall in love with his female character, Pooja and hilarious situations crop up. Coming to the Dream Girl’s box office collections, Ayushmann and Nushrat’s film has been doing well and is keeping steady on the weekdays. On Wednesday, Dream Girl earned Rs 6.50 Crore nett which took up the total collections at the box office to Rs 64 Crore nett. Dream Girl has been performing well in the northern regions including Delhi, UP and Punjab. The numbers are expected to go up by Friday and the total week 1 estimated collection is around Rs 70 Crore.

The other release this month was Shraddha Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput’s Chhichhore and Ayushmann’s Dream Girl has been competing with the same. Directed and written by Raaj Shandiliyaa, Dream Girl is produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobhaa Kapoor. Apart from Ayushmann and Nushrat, the film stars Abhishek Banerjee, Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh and others. The film’s trailer left everyone in splits and for his character Pooja, Ayushmann dubbed in a female voice himself. The songs like Radhe Radhe, Dil Ka Telephone and Dhaga La Lag Li are chartbusters and the film’s business is expected to remain unaffected by this week’s releases Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas and The Zoya Factor.
