Luka Chuppi Box Office Collection Day 2: Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer witnesses excellent growth

Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer, Luka Chuppi released at the Box Office on March 1st and the film opened to positive reviews by critics and audience alike. The story of the film revolves around live-ins and all the struggles the couple face in India to act as a married couple for the family and society. The comedy-family drama has been written by Rohan Shankar and directed by Laxman Utekar. Luka Chuppi also features Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi and Vinay Pathak in important roles.
The film took a flying start on day one (Friday) with earnings of Rs7.75 crore approx. Luka Chuppi witness amazing start with the second day being exceptional. On day 2, Kartik and Kriti Sanon starrer has witnessed a good growth by earning Rs 9.75 crore approx at the ticket windows. With this, the film has done a total business of around Rs 17.75 crore which is excellent. Luka Chuppi is expected to pick on Sunday and the first-weekend business might end around Rs 30 crore approx. Meanwhile, another film, Sonchiriya starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar is struggling. The film has done a total business of Rs 2 crore in two days. 
With Luka Chuppi, Kartik Aarya has surpassed his own record which was made by Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety by almost 2 crores difference in opening day figures. Luka Chuppi also crossed first-day figures of Ayushmann Khurrana's Badhaai Ho, Rajkummar Rao's Stree and Alia Bhatt's Raazi.
