EXCLUSIVE: Rakul Preet Singh joins John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez in Attack
After Jacqueline Fernandez, John Abraham and director Lakshya Raj Anand has now roped in Rakul Preet Singh as another female lead for the action thriller.
Earlier this year, John Abraham had announced that he will star in debutante director Lakshya Raj Anand's film Attack. John will also produce the film, under his home banner. Pinkvilla was the first to announce that John has got Jacqueline Fernandez to star opposite him in the film. But now, we can tell you that Jackie won't be the only actress in the action thriller.
A source tells us, "It's a two-heroine project. Both the roles are really powerful and action-oriented. The team was scouting for two good looking actors who can also perform and do stunts really well. It's then that they took the film to Rakul Preet Singh. She was their first choice for the role." Rakul has also green lit the project. The source adds, "She loved the script and her role in it. The final modalities are being worked out. Post that, the team will make an official announcement of the same soon. It goes on floors in January next year." Rakul has had a good year so far with De De Pyaar De and Marjaavaan working well for her. She's currently shooting for Nikkhil's next production venture that also stars Arjun Kapoor. 
John Abraham is a busy man. He has Pagalpanti lined up, followed by Sanjay Gupta's Mumbai Saga which is already on the floors. Then, he has Lakshya Raj Anand's Attack and Milap Zaveri's Satyameva Jayate 2. Not just that, he has also announced another film, that will be directed by Nikkhil Advani. In fact, he also wants to produce a bike racing film with producer Bhushan Kumar.
