Katrina Kaif has NOT been approached for Salman Khan’s Race 3

Salman Khan is keen on getting Katrina Kaif onboard for Race 3.

Race 3 has been making headlines ever since Salman Khan got onboard for the franchise. With superstar Salman being a part of it, the franchise just got bigger and better. Given that Jacqueline Fernandez has been locked for the film, speculations around the other female lead have been doing the rounds for a while now.

While reports of Daisy Shah being roped in for the role refuses to die down, another report of Katrina Kaif being approached for the role has made its way to the internet.

Interesting, Katrina and Jacqueline have both been parts of Race and Race 3 respectively.

A source close to the film told a leading daily, “There are three leading men and two leading ladies in Race 3. So there’s a very strong role for another actress. Salman is very keen to get Katrina on board.”

The source further added, “When Salman decided to come on board for Race 3 he brought director Remo D’Souza with him, and Abbas-Mustan, who directed the first two films in the series, was dropped. Salman has a say in every department of Race 3 — from the casting and the music to the locations! If he wants Katrina in the film, she is bound to be in the film.”
