Article 15 Box Office Collection Day 14: Ayushmann Khurrana's film crosses Rs 50 crore mark within 2 weeks

Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article 15 has been growing slowly and steadily at the domestic box office. The social drama flick has successfully completed 14 days at the box office and has also crossed the Rs 50 crore mark. After creating waves with Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho in 2018, Ayushmann's eye for unique scripts and film choices have received praises from all quarters. With Article 15, Ayushmann stepped into the shoes of an unconventional cop and a successful one at that.

According to a report in Box Office India, Article 15's second week collection has been an impressive one considering the film faced stiff competition from films like Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh and Marvel's Spider-Man: Far From Home. On day 14, i.e. Thursday, the film raked in Rs 1.75 crore taking its total collection past Rs 50 crore.

The film's second week total collection amounted to around Rs 18 crore nett. The drop is under 50 per cent from first week which is good considering that the film lost out on around Rs 1 crore nett business due to India's semi-final match with New Zealand.

So far, the film has collected Rs 52 crore nett and looks like the third week collections will remain stable. Article 15 should comfortably cross the 60 crore nett from this position, the report stated. However, Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 may prove a threat to all films including Kabir Singh as trade analysts have projected the film to well.
