Bala Box Office Collection Day 6: Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, Yami starrer faces drop at ticket window
Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Bala released last week on Friday. Here’s how much it raked in at the box office on day 6.
For fans of Ayushmann Khurrana, 2019 has been a stellar year as the star has had 3 big releases this year. One of his recent films, Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar with him, Bala has managed to win the hearts of audiences and is doing well at the box office as well. From the makers of Stree, Bala came last Friday and stars Ayushmann as Balmukund who is facing premature balding in his mid-twenties. Due to this, Ayushmann aka Bala isn’t finding the right girl for himself.
The film managed to get rave reviews and was liked by audiences. Coming to the box office collection, Bala has managed to reach the Hit category in less than a week. As per Box Office India, the film has managed to rake in Rs 4.50-4.75 Crore nett on Wednesday, which was a drop of 45 % from his Day 5 collection. However, it still took to the total box office collection of Bala to Rs 64 Crore nett and it is expected to reach Rs 69 Crore nett by Friday. However, it remains to be seen how the film fares on Thursday. 
Directed by Amar Kaushik, Ayushmann starrer Bala was a social satire and also tackled India’s obsession with fair skin with Latika aka Bhumi’s character. The music of the film and songs like Don’t Be Shy, Pyaar Toh Tha, Naah Goriye and more have been trending chartbusters and are being loved by all. Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s production house Maddock films, Bala has been able to get the love from critics as well as audiences. It will be interesting to see how the film fares when Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Tara Sutaria starrer Marjaavaan hits the screens on Friday.
