Housefull 4 Box Office Collection Day 2: Akshay Kumar's Diwali release holds up well
The multi-starrer Diwali release, Akshay Kumar's Housefull 4 has had an impressive second day at the box office and making its total collection after two days Rs. 36.50 crore.
Housefull 4 starring Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Rana Daggubati, Pooja Hegde, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Chunky Panday, and others, released on Friday, and it has had a rather impressive opening with a whopping Rs. 18.50 crore on its first day, and it has held up well on the second day, despite the Diwali festivities going on. The reviews of the film have been rather mixed, and yet, the movie has had a nice first two days.
On its second day, the movie has collected around 18 crore nett and in fact, the numbers saw a rise in almost all the areas with the mass areas having had a better day 2 over rest of the country. Meanwhile, areas also witnessed growth and made up for the low numbers on the first day due to Diwali. Considering the past releases on Diwali, the drop in numbers is rather less as compared to films like Krrish 3 (2013), Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016).
After two days in business, the movie has collected 36.50 crore nett and if the numbers continue to be in a similar bandwidth, we can expect the movie to collect have a 50 crore in its three days, however, with Diwali today, it is most likely that the numbers will drop further.
