The highly anticipated action film of 2019, Saaho starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor released this Friday. Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho stars Prabhas as the main protagonist and Shraddha Kapoor as a police officer. The film is also one of the most awaited ones and registered a record in terms of its advance ticket sales. Hence, the early estimates of Box Office Collection of Saaho’s day 1 are in and Prabhas and Shraddha’s films is off to a good start.

As per Box Office India, Saaho’s early estimates show that the film registered the second highest opening after Baahubali 2. Despite some issue of cancelled shows in the northern region due to problem of prints, Saaho collected around Rs 24 Crore nett at the box office on day 1. The numbers are bound to increase since the film will be screened in some parts of the north like Delhi area. In Mumbai, Gujarat and Marathwada, Saaho minted excellent moolah on first day. In Gujarat, Saaho’s opening day numbers were 2nd after Bharat. Keeping in mind the release issues and lukewarm opening in South, the collection is 30 crore nett opening in real value.

Saaho released in multiple languages including Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil. The film also stars various Bollywood actors like Mahesh Manjrekar, Jackie Shroff, Chunkey Panday, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Mandira Bedi. With Hollywood action directors roped in for stunts and picturesque locations for song shoots, Saaho is a big-budget action film that stars Prabhas in a completely different avatar than his last outing Baahubali. The songs like Bad Boy, Psycho Saiyaan, Baby Won’t You Tell Me and Enni Soni are also trending. It remains to be seen how Saaho does over the weekend after it is screened all over the country without any issues.
