Student of the Year 2 Box Office Collection Day 5: Tiger, Ananya and Tara starrer witnesses a downward trend

Speaking of the movie, the same is the sequel to the 2012 drama of the same name and it marks the debut of Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday. The movie is directed by Punit Malhotra of I Hate Love Storys fame.

Student of The Year 2 saw a decent jump on the day 2 collections but post the same, it has been witnessing a downward trend. Talking about the Tuesday collections, the same is lesser than Monday. As per BOI, the movie collected Rs 4.75-5 crore nett and now the total stands at around Rs 48 crore. BOI's report reads," The first week is heading for a 55 crore nett first week which is not good but it's not that bad either."

For the unversed, on the day one the movie collected around  Rs 11 crore 75 lakhs and the day two collections were higher with around Rs 13 crore 50 lakhs. Sunday's business was around Rs 12 crore 50 lakhs and the major drop happened on Monday with the collections of Rs 5 crore 25 lakhs. As per reports, the release of Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet starrer De De De Pyaar De this Friday will affect the box office collection of Student Of The Year 2.

Seems like dharma productions collapse is near. But Karan’s fault he seems to be on self destruct mode , obsessively hiring nepo kids lacking talent and worst of all making films (with these talentless actors) which have zero scripts. The scripts lack any storyline and even if well known actors had worked in these films they wud still have bombed. Seems like dharma lacks all the motivation to utilize good sensible scripts and are willing to spend tonnes of crores on garbage and then face humiliation at box office.
