Despite the competition from films like Why Cheat India, The Accidental Prime Minister, Rangeela Raja, Bombairiya and Rangeela Raja, the movie has been doing well at the box office. If we talk about this Monday, the film made around Rs 6.75 Crores alone which is miraculous and record-breaking for any film in the second week. Also, it has picked up down South and is doing well there. Total second weekend box office collection is Rs 37.75 Crores. Till now, the total box office collection of Uri is Rs 1,15,74,00,000 approx.

Talking about the film, Vicky’s role of the army officer who leads the surgical strike in Pakistan is being loved by the audiences. They are really liking the action as well as the dialogues of the film. One particular dialogue, “How’s the Josh?” has even been used by the PM Narendra Modi in one of his recent speeches. This week, Manikarnika:The Queen Of Jhansi is releasing. Thus, it will be interesting to see how it impacts Uri’s box office numbers.
