Dimple Kapadia is on a roll. After featuring in Christopher Nolan’s Tenet and the Irrfan Khan starrer Angrezi Medium last year, the actress kick-started 2021 with Ali Abbas Zafar’s web show, Tandav. She played a politician in the series. Next up, Kapadia will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and Siddharth Anand’s Pathan. Now, Pinkvilla has learnt that the Bobby actress has signed another project. She has given her nod to Behzad Khambata’s A Thursday that features Yami Gautam in the lead role.

Produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Blue Monkey Films, A Thursday will have an OTT release and reportedly features Gautam as a play school teacher. “Dimple Kapadia recently came onboard and will be seen in a special appearance. It's a very powerful role and Behzad couldn’t think of anyone else by Dimple to play the part. They start shooting for the film by the end of February,” informs a source close to the development. Buzz is that besides Yami and Dimple, A Thursday will also feature Neha Dhupia and Atul Kulkarni.

Interestingly, Behzad had made his directorial debut with the 2019 action-thriller Blank that had launched Dimple’s nephew Karan Kapadia. A Thursday was announced in September 2020. Yami had shared the news on Instagram stating, “More than the weekend, this time, waiting for #AThursday”. Check out the post below:
