Aimee, who chose not to appear in the MTV reality series The Osbournes, shared a joint statement with her family after Ozzy’s death: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”

Following the public procession, a private funeral ceremony was held in Birmingham. Music icons, including members of Metallica, were seen arriving. Birmingham City Council had closed Broad Street and diverted buses and trams to ensure a smooth and respectful event. The council said it worked “at pace” with the Osbourne family to plan a safe farewell.
