One of the adorable couples of Tamil Film industry, Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth celebrate 12 glorious years of togetherness. The duo is celebrating their 12th wedding anniversary today, November 18th as they took wedding vows in 2004, when he was 22 and she was 25 years old. Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth welcomed their first son, Yatra Raja on October 10, 2006, and second son, Linga Raja on June 21, 2010. Well, Dhanush is a huge star down South, however, his personal life and love story also managed to grab attention. 

Dhanush met Aishwarya first through his sister. Aishwarya and Dhanush's sister were very good friends. Soon speculations started doing rounds about their relationship but the actor denied and maintained that she is just his sister's friend. While the speculations about their secret affair were spreading all over on the Internet, their families decided to arrange their wedding. One of the famous couples of the South Indian film industry decided to spend their life together and tied the knot on November 18, 2004. The lavish wedding took place at Rajinikanth's house in Chennai.

During an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Dhanush had shared how his wife has always been supportive and made all things possible on the professional front. 

Speaking about his wife, Dhanush said, "She has always been a great support and she is a fantastic woman. she has always handled me and my work stress really well, without her none of the things would have been possible." Further talking about how he handles failures, the Maari 2 actor said, "I handle success and failures equally...Of course, when the film doesn't do well at the Box Office, it affects. Eventually, I have turned mature to handle both the same way." 

Dhanush surely knows how to pamper his ladylove with some expensive gifts. During one of the interviews with Economic Times, Aishwarya revealed she got her first solitaire ever from Dhanush on their first anniversary. She said, "On our first wedding anniversary, Dhanush got me a solitaire ring. That was my first solitaire ever. It’s my most prized possession."
