Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, released on OTT on June 13, after its theatrical release in April. Starring Akshay Kumar, Ananya Pandey, and R. Madhavan, the film was packed with emotional scenes that struck the right chord with the audience. As many took the time to watch this movie in theaters, actor Ravi Dubey's busy schedule didn't allow him to visit theaters to watch Kesari 2. Now, as the actor watched this amazing movie on OTT, he expressed his regret over it.
Taking to his Instagram story, Ravi Dubey shared a glimpse of his screen as he is watching Kesari 2 on OTT. Sharing this photo, Ravi expressed his regret of not watching Kesari 2 in theatres and wrote, "Regret not experiencing this masterpeiece in theatres...incredible absolutely incredible (clapping emoticons) #Kesari2."

Kesari 2 was indeed one of the heart-touching movies released this year. The film featured Amritsar's Jallianwala Bagh massacre as its central theme and garnered a positive response for its detailed depiction. The movie became a huge hit when it was released on big screens on April 18, 2025. Backed by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions, the film was recently released on JioHotstar on June 13.
Akshay Kumar, who essayed the role of Sir C. Sankaran Nair, received applause for his performance. He was the lawyer who fought against the British and General Dyer over the ruthless massacre.
Meanwhile, Ananya Panday played the role of Dilreet Gill, a lawyer who plays a pivotal role, showing her support for Nair in going against the British. R Madhavan played the role of Neville McKinley, a lawyer who stood with General Dyer and fought against Sir C. Sankaran Nair. The actors were applauded for their performances in the movie.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar will soon be seen in Kannappa alongside Vishnu Manchu. Speaking about Ravi Dubey, the actor will be seen in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana along with Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi, and Sunny Deol.
