Here's wishing Kareena Kapoor Khan a very happy birthday, celebrating her journey in Bollywood!

Asoka

After marking her debut in Bollywood with Refugee, Kareena Kapoor starred in the Indian epic historical drama, Asoka. Reminiscing the times during the 3rd century, Kareena plays Kaurwaki, the runaway Princess of Kalinga. Bold and brave, the young actress proved her mettle in her second film itself pairing with King Khan of Bollywood, Shah Rukh. Kareena displayed a blend of fierce and feminity in the film as she fled away from her kingdom and romanced the Great King Asoka on one side and showcased her soft and subtle side in the song San Sanana, which is a sensation till date.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

It's been eighteen years and till date, Poo is the first thing that pops up in our mind when we hear of the cult-classic film K3G. The fandom has only increased since then and we still see girls trying to match up with Kareena Kapoor's character in the film. The family drama directed by Karan Johar featured a legendary star ensemble with Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, and Jaya Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee as a special appearance in the film. The movie is a roller-coaster ride of emotions, family bondings and love. Every character is equally remarkable, yet Poo steals the show.

Chameli

Stepping out of her comfort zone, Kareena was seen in a bold avatar as she aced the role of a female escort in the film Chameli. This was the first time the cute and peppy Kareena opted going outrageous and bold. The story revolves around a man and Chameli stuck together in an alleyway in the wake of stormy weather. The night witnesses a murder, allegations and a number of controversies but gives rise to a budding friendship between the man and the street-smart Chameli.

Jab We Met

Breathing life into the character of Geet, the film wouldn't have been the same if it was not for Kareena Kapoor. One of the best till date, Geet was one of the most loved roles played by the actress. A performance that is worth being remembered for years, Jab We Met connected with the youth even before the film released.

Tashan

The transformation from a chubby-cheeked girl to a svelte diva, Kareena Kapoor became the trendsetter for zero figure in Bollywood. Flaunting her tan and hot bod, Kareena not only caught our eyes, but also stole Nawab of Pataudi Saif Ali Khan's heart as they starred together in the film. The movie gave way to Saifeena's budding romance who later came to be known as the royal couple of Bollywood.

Heroine

The film clashed with brother Ranbir Kapoor's film Barfi yet the actress managed to stir the viewers with her brilliant performance in the movie. Unveiling what it takes to hold your ground in the glamour industry, Kareena showed the struggles faced by actors and established how it is not a bed of roses to be a successful heroine.

Veere Di Wedding

The ideal girl's vacay film that Bollywood needed after all the bachelors trip fun that boys show off about. The film also showed Kareena's transformation powering into fitness once again post-pregnancy. Kareena had recently conceived Taimur, but the actress pulled up her socks and returned to her unfinished project displaying her love for acting and delivered a super hit blockbuster film.
