Southern beauty Lakshmi Manchu has kick-started the shoot of her upcoming show in Thailand. The TV host and actress is quite tied up with a few projects and has been travelling for the same. Despite busy schedules, the hot mommy surely knows to manage some time for her daughter. In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Lakshmi Manchu revealed about her work, how she manages to remove time from her busy schedules for her daughter, best friend Rakul Preet, Kabir Singh director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's controversy and a lot more. You are soon to host a reality show, share about it
The show is set in Thailand, it is adventurous, and it has quite a few celebrities. I'm super excited to be hosting it, especially in Thailand as the weather is going to be so amazing. There are quite a few projects in the kitty that I cannot talk about right now. This show also they let it out in the news as I'm leaving for the shoot. I'm very sentimental about not talking about until I start shooting something.
You have been travelling, working and also fulfilling mommy duties, and that's evident through your Instagram. How do you manage it all? 
I have been travelling quite a bit too...So every chance I get, I choose to spend with my daughter, travelling as that's our favourite thing. I worked on the four projects in a very short time and I really really enjoy my downtime nowadays. Earlier, I used to just run but now I'm enjoying the balance.

Also, can you elaborate to the caption of the latest Ram Charan and your daughter's pic that read. "I can't wait for Apple to be the big sister when you have babies.. hehe"
I meant, she is going to be a big sister whenever they have kids. I completely meant it in a very future way and Charan just got on Instagram, So I thought it would be nice to share a picture with him.
Rakul Preet being your best friend, what's one of the annoying habits of her that you don't like.
She keeps the temperature in the room at 26 degrees. She keeps the temperature that hot even in Mumbai too. That's the most annoying thing about her. She does it very quietly, reduces and later increases even before I get to know but it is very cute.
Manmadhudu 2 teaser recently came out, what do you think about Rakul's free-spirited and bold role.
I love the roles Rakul is picking right now, it's bold, it is out there. I know she had quite a tough time figuring out her next movies because she was really getting out at that point where she was just tired of crying. I had been on Manmadhudu 2 sets, it is going to be an amazing film...I have seen snippets and I can't wait for it to be out.
You appeared to be upset by Devdutt Pattanaik's remark against Bollywood over Sandeep Vanga's statements. However, you were trolled immediately after. You calling Sandeep sad filmmaker did not go well.
I wasn't upset...I was just correcting him in the most respectful way saying it is not all of Bollywood. I'm a big fan of Sandeep Vanga...I love Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh...I don't have a problem of him hitting a woman onscreen when it is in a story that they are telling but I had a problem with the director saying it's okay for people to be in a relationship hit each other. I don't agree on that even one per cent. It was just that interview that was not right. As celebrities, we have to be a little bit conscious of what we say as we are influencing millions of people to hit their partner.
