Housefull 4 Box Office Collection Day 6: Akshay Kumar’s film to become a HIT as it continues to rake in moolah

A comedy film that was released last Friday, a day prior to Diwali, was Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol starrer Housefull 4. The film was the fourth instalment of the Housefull series and a reincarnation comedy. The film was promoted by all the stars including Akshay and they used various unique ways to do so. From train promotions to The Bala challenge, all helped in raking on moolah at the box office.
Coming to the box office collections, after getting one of the highest openings at the ticket window of this year, Housefull 4 crossed the Rs 100 Crore mark a day back. While the film managed to achieve this milestone in just 5 days, it still had to rake in more money to be declared a hit. On Wednesday, Housefull 4 box office collections were Rs 15.56 Crore which took the total collection to Rs 124.50 Crore. This meant that Akshay’s starrer is all set to be declared a hit the box office.
Meanwhile, the Housefull 4 trailer had received a massive response from the audience and the Bala challenge is still a rage on social media. The songs Ek Chumma, Chammo, Bala Shaitan Ka Sala are trending across all musical platforms. Apart from the lead stars, Chunky Panday, Johnny Lever, Ranjeet, Rana Daggubati and Nawazuddin Siddiqui also feature in the film. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and is still going strong at the box office.
