Housefull 4 Box Office Collection Day 5: Akshay Kumar’s film crosses Rs. 100 crore; records his fifth century
Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4, which opened to mixed reviews, has now entered the Rs. 100 crore club. In fact, it has marked Akshay’s fifth century in a row far.
This Diwali turned extra special for Akshay Kumar, especially on the professional front. Not only his recent release Housefull 4 got a grand opening at the ticket window, but it is also enjoying a dream run at the box office. In fact, it has shattered several box office records and has emerged as the biggest comedy entertainer of the year. Continuing the winning momentum, the Akshay starrer has entered the coveted Rs. 100 crore club within a week of its release.
As per a report published in Box Office India, after raking in the highest Monday collections, Housefull 4 continued a stronghold at the box office and earned Rs. 24 crores on Tuesday. These impeccable earnings took the collections to a total of Rs. 109 crore. Interestingly, this Farhad Samji turned out to be Akshay’s fifth movie in a row to enter Rs. 100 crore club. His first two releases of 2019, Kesari and Mission Mangal, had also crossed achieved this milestone within a week of its release.
To note, this glorious run of Housefull 4 has also added another feather to Akshay’s cap. After all, the movie turned out to be his 13 entry in the prestigious club. In fact, he is competing with superstar Salman Khan to take the first spot in the list. To note, Salman too has 13 movies in the list. And while both the actors have two big releases coming up – Salman’s Dabangg 3 and Akshay’s Good Newwz - it will be interesting to see who will grab the top position.

Meanwhile, Akshay is overwhelmed with the success of Housefull 4 and expressed his gratitude towards the audience. He wrote, “Thank you for loving us and laughing with us.
