After appearing in a supporting role in the 1999 Tamil film Jodi, she bagged her first lead role in the 2002 film Mounam Pesiyadhe. Since then, Trisha has established her place in the film industry. In 2010, she made her Bollywood debut in Khatta Meetha; however, the film could not bring the gorgeous actress to the notice in the Hindi film industry. But nothing stopped her from making her place in the Southern film industry.
Her film 96 created wonders at the box office and went on to earn a numbers of awards. Her last film Petta with Rajinikanth was also a hit. Trisha and Vijay:
Trisha's first rumoured affair was with Mersal actor Vijay. The actors met each other for the first time on the sets of their film Ghilli, which was released in the year 2005. Soon after, rumours about their relationship started doing rounds. However, Trisha repeatedly denied the rumours saying how these are nothing but attempts to malign her image.
Trisha and Rana Daggubati:
The 96 actress' relationship with Rana Daggubati was the talk of the town. They had a quite on and off relationship years ago. However, things didn’t work out between the two and they parted ways in a few months of their relationship. They never officially spoke about their relationship, but Rana left everyone surprised when he spoke about Trisha on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan.
On Koffee With Karan season 6, Rana Daggubati said, "She's been a friend of mine from a decade. We have been friends for very long and dated for a little time. But I guess, things didn't work out."
A marriage that never happened:
In December 2015, Trisha left everyone surprised when she made an announcement about her engagement to businessman Varun Manian, a real estate businessman, who was also into film production. The engagement ceremony was attended by close friends and family members. However, three months after their engagement, the couple parted ways. Soon after, Trisha walked out of a film that was being produced by Varun.
Trisha and Dhanush:
According to the latest report, Dhanush, who was present at Trisha's engagement with Varun was the reason behind the much talked about break-up. Reportedly, Dhanush and Varun were not on good terms when the Marri 2 actor had attended the engagement ceremony. When Varun raised this point, Trisha lost her cool and this created an argument between them at their engagement party. Trisha and Dhanush are very good friends and were often spotted partying together.
Jallikattu and PETA:
She had to seek police protection after speaking against the sport Jallikattu.
Suchi Leaks:
Suchi leaks was one of the most sensational stories that broke the internet a couple years ago. Some private photos of actors Rana Daggubati, Trisha Krishnan, Dhanush and others were leaked via singer-actor Suchitra's Twitter handle. The controversy had taken the film industry by storm. Trisha was one of the actresses whose pictures were leaked by Suchitra.
Deactivates Twitter account:
Following the Jallikattu controversy, Trisha deactivated her Twitter account and said, “My account will be deactivated till I plan a further course of action.” She returned after a month for promoting her movie.
She has been paired up with almost every huge star of the south including Prabhas, Thala Ajith and Siddharth among others.
