Box Office Day 1 Occupancy Report: Judgementall Hai Kya opens higher than Arjun Patiala

The two big Hindi releases clashing this week at the box office are Arjun Patiala and Judgementall Hai Kya. Movie audiences who have been in for a treat since Kabir Singh released, followed by Article 15 and Super 30 will be spoilt for choice this weekend. Along with these films already running, films like The Lion King and Spider-Man: Far From Home have also been raking in good money at the box office. While Arjun Patiala stars Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh, Judgementall Hai Kya stars Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles.

As per the box office predictions, film and trade analyst Girish Johar had revealed to Pinkvilla earlier that Judgementall Hai Kya would have an upper hand over Arjun Patiala. And as per the occupancy report, looks like Kangana and Rajkummar's film does have the upper hand. Box Office India reported that Arjun Patiala's opening was poor and it accounted for only 5 to 10 per cent on Friday.

Whereas, Judgementall Kya Hai's witnessed a better opening at 15 to 20 per cent. The report added that Arjun Patiala is likely to do better in Punjab because of the film's story and Diljit Dosanjh. However, overall Judgementall Kya Hai will be ahead by a margin and possibly even double.The growth potential of the film is also more on the weekend.
